Tuesday, September 7

Create a Porcelain Portrait Tile Adorable, sweet, playful, sporty, who can resist? Your child will capture their youthful personality & learn about the art of portraits. This project combines layers of clay construction techniques, texture, & color. This project will become a treasure in the Family Art Gallery for years to come.   Workshops    4:30 - 6:00 PM        6:15 - 7:45 PM

Wednesday, September 8

Make a Toad House, Create a special, one of a kind clay toad house! This architectural project will warm up your child's imagination and creativity while gaining clay construction skills. Each Toad house will be packaged with a house warming gift, a set of  stepping stones to be placed at the entrance of the Toad House or to be used as a deck for the toad who appreciates the great outdoors! Workshops  6:00 - 7:30 PM

Make an UGLY Mug! Make a mug that brings a laugh! This adult -size mug is designed to "grow-up" with your child. Inspired by the Ugly Jugs created by the potter's of North Carolina, this FUN project allows your child to express them self through sculpture.  The first mug of cocoa's on us! Mugs are microwave / dishwasher safe & food friendly. Workshops 4:30 - 6:00 PM        6:15 - 7:45 PM

Saturday, September 11

Take a Spin on the Potter's Wheel Ice cream tastes even better when  served in a hand turned bowl. Your child will learn the fundamental steps to turning clay on the potter's wheel,  enjoy a sense of accomplishment, &will  gain a deeper appreciation for making things from scratch. Workshop 10:00 - 11:30 AM
